Memory & privacy

Choose whether ShackAI can carry a few useful details between chats.

When enabled, after every third user message in a chat ShackAI sends up to the last eight user messages to its model provider for extraction. Assistant replies are not included. It saves up to five durable, non-sensitive preferences or project details; this does not retrain Gemini or another base model. Memory is stored in this browser for guests or in your account’s cloud state when signed in. You can turn it off, review entries, or delete them below. Extraction uses an extra model call.
Saved memories
Thumbs-up/down ratings send only a random response ID and provider/model metadata. If you choose “Suggest an improvement” on a reply, ShackAI sends the prompt, that reply, and your suggested answer to its private review queue. The owner reviews each submission; nothing is used to train a model automatically. Suggestions are optional and are not linked to your account or chat.

Suggest an improvement

Help ShackAI improve this kind of answer. Your submission goes to the owner for review.

Only submit content you’re comfortable sharing with the ShackAI owner. Avoid passwords, personal details, or other sensitive information. The prompt, original answer, and suggested answer will be stored privately for review. Approval adds an example to an exportable evaluation dataset; it does not change the live model by itself.
